Kansas to Colorado to New Mexico
Here we are in Colorado heading to Colorado Springs to see the Garden of the Gods.

| On the way, we passed several groups of pronghorn. And "I want to see mountains again, Gandalf. Mountains." But we learned a very important lesson. Do not preview our travels too specifically. When one is driving a 3500 Ram with an 8 foot bed towing a 39.7 foot not every point of interest can handle that kind of rig. The Garden of the Gods looked interesting however the longest parking area was for 40 foot buses. Hmm. Guess that is not going to work for us. So while we got to see the rock formations it was from the comfort of our truck. We just had to drive past and take the loop road back out. We were so hoping to go for a hike. |

| Santa Fe Plaza where we met up with Bob and Karen. There are some pretty big chili peppers hanging from the street lights. We noticed several shops on the drive into town with scores of hanging chili peppers. |
