Arrival at Lake Greenwood State Park near Ninety-Six, South Carolina. It was cloudy and expecting rain so unexpected "issues" are not a good thing. Our first attempt to park in our slot certainly did not go well. After disconnecting, the Autolevel had our door-side tires off the pavement. The slant and curve did not meet our requirements for a big rig. That means we had to reconnect, drive back out to the office, find a new slot that we can actually fit in, drive back to the camping area and park. The slot above was ever so slightly better than the original and it still took us almost an hour to get the RV positioned. Check out the stairs and how we had to gerry rig them because the extensions still could not reach to the ground. May not be the safest landing but we had literally run out of time...and patience. |
